Tricia Penrose took part in the 2007 series of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, the ultimate celebrity singing contest. It was presented by Patrick Keilty and Claudia Winkleman and each night they guided the celebrities through the live performances as they sang their hearts out to win the public votes and remain in the competition.

Sing If You Can was a new entertainment series in which some of Britain’s most popular celebrities including Tricia Penrose were challenged to perform in extreme and hilarious circumstances. Sing If You Can was a celebrity singing contest like no other. There was only one rule, expect the unexpected – snakes, gunge, electrocutions, performing dogs, bouncy castles, explosions, stunt riders and….eels. It was no surprise that the celebrity contestants spent as much time laughing and screaming as they did singing!

Although Tricia is best known and loved for her abilities as an actress, she is also recognised for her love of singing. After being signed to Simon Cowell’s record label in 1996, she soon released a single "Where Did Our Love Go?" which was followed by "Don't Wanna Be Alone" in 2000.
